PROJECT LEARNING TREE

Project Learning Tree uses the forest as a window on the world to increase students' understanding of the environment.

Provides 6 hour workshops anywhere in state for activity coordinators, scout troop leaders, nature center staff, school teachers, camp counselors, youth group leaders etc... Basically, anyone interested in sharing what they learn in the workshop with others. Each workshop is taught by three trained volunteer facilitators: an educator, a forester, and a community member. If you organize a group of 12 or more, you can choose the time and location (your own woodlot); or you can can sign up for the next scheduled workshop near you.
